I work in infrastructure security at DXC Technology. I come from the SOC: I used to investigate the alerts, and now I administer the platforms that raise them, from EDR to email, identity, network and cloud.

Entré en ciberseguridad por la identidad. En Deloitte gestionaba identidades y cuentas privilegiadas para grandes empresas, con SailPoint, Active Directory y Thycotic.

En mayo de 2024 llegué al SOC de DXC, dentro de servicios MDR: investigación, resolución y remediación de alertas con cinco SIEM distintos, además de EDR, NDR y WAF. Con el tiempo pasé a ser mentor del equipo y backup del coordinador, y a trabajar con los equipos de SIEM e Innovación en la mejora continua del servicio.

Desde septiembre de 2025, en el equipo de infraestructura de seguridad, gestiono esas mismas herramientas: configuro reglas y políticas en coordinación con el resto de torres de seguridad, buscando siempre el equilibrio entre la protección del cliente y sus necesidades operativas.

Donde más aporto es en la resolución de incidencias: llegar a la causa raíz de un problema técnico y dejarlo resuelto. Cuando ha hecho falta, también he asumido proyectos de cliente como consultor, desde la reestructuración de SentinelOne hasta el diseño de Netskope en iOS.

I got into cybersecurity through identity. At Deloitte I managed identities and privileged accounts for large companies, using SailPoint, Active Directory and Thycotic.

In May 2024 I joined DXC's SOC, within MDR services: investigating, resolving and remediating alerts across five different SIEMs, plus EDR, NDR and WAF. Over time I became team mentor and coordinator backup, and worked with the SIEM and Innovation teams on continuously improving the service.

Since September 2025, on the infrastructure security team, I manage those same tools: I configure rules and policies in coordination with the other security towers, always balancing client protection with their operational needs.

Where I add the most is incident resolution: getting to the root cause of a technical problem and leaving it fixed. When needed, I've also taken on client projects as a consultant, from restructuring SentinelOne to designing Netskope for iOS.

  • I resolve incidents and troubleshoot all of these platforms, from the reported issue down to the root cause.
